Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the sweetheart of America after she won American Idol in the first season. She was not only launched into fame by winning and announcing the contract for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. The singer has since released several Studio albums. The three albums topped the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. In order to achieve success, she tried out different musical styles, and explored topics. The singer received critical acclaim as well as numerous important awards for her creativity and vocal talent. Notably, she's been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her music career she has appeared in films and TV shows. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
