Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as a member of the band One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they won. Even though he's always expressed an interest in music but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and an physiotherapist. In order to provide for the needs of his children, he spent a short time working part-time at a bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. It was for this reason that the group split. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join a future band that would be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which began in the year 2010. During the competition the band sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. However, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire under a contract with One Direction.
