Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist as well as a musician. She works predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam and Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was born to an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer who is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up near Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano around the age of eight. Andrea was a huge fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she joined at the age of 10 was the foundation to sing and compose music. She was performer in her college in various shows organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her stage career by appearing in Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She starred with Shiva as a leo coffee ad in 2006. She was also in the Podhigai Channel, a television serial. She has appeared in various shows throughout India. She played a brief part in the final scene of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea played Kalyani the wife who's husband has an extramarital affair. Andrea was chosen for the part following Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were contacted by producers. It was first released in the early part of 2010. In 2011 she agreed to perform a small supporting role which was released in early 2010. Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which was released in August of 2011. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
