Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as a producer, actress and writer, singer/director. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson was her younger artist sister. Benson has a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson is a performer featured in a variety of TV and film shows since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. She also used her skills as a writer on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and produced Drones in 2010. Buffy claims that after taking time to count and locate them she found around 1800 Slayers around the globe, of which 500 are associated to The Scooby Gang. Slayers are active once their abilities are mature enough. Soledad for example became an Slayer when she was 16. Ruth Connell will play Rowena in Supernatural Season 10. She is apparently an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
